All of our Massage therapists are registered with the College of Massage. Although all massage therapists initially received similar training their focuses, techniques, and additional specialized training will cause their treatments to differ. Massage therapy enhances therapeutic outcomes by acting directly on the muscular, nervous, and circulatory systems to aid in rehabilitating physical injuries and various other conditions, massage assists in maintaining muscle tone and flexibility and can interrupt potentially harmful repetitive strain patterns. Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is a hands-on approach that improves whole-body health and performance affecting the physical, mental and emotional aspects of who you are. It is a gentle yet powerful means of moving ‘stuck energy” in the body. Physical and emotional trauma can leave restrictions in the body. Cranial Sacral Therapy helps the body release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. By freeing the central nervous system to perform at its best, Cranial Sacral Therapy can naturally help eliminate pain and stress, strengthen the bodies resistance to disease and enhances overall health and well- being.

Registered Massage Therapists offering Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT). A combination of the Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage, remedial exercise therapy, compression bandaging (or compression garments in the maintenance phase) and therapeutic skin care. It may also include breathing and aquatic exercises, and other home care instructions.
MLD is a combination of gentle massage techniques that increases lymphangiomotoricity (pulsation of the vessel) and is performed to reduce edema in the affected area. The affected area is measured, and treatment is performed regularly until the therapists no longer sees a change in limb circumference or volume. MLD reduces edema and increases microcirculation encouraging the healing of tissues and wounds.
Short stretch compression bandaging or coban is applied after each treatment if required and tolerated to maintain the new limb volume. Bandaging is left on until the next treatment day. Patients are encouraged to learn to self bandage for successful long-term results
We treat primary and secondary lymphedema including:
• Post cancer edemas i.e. mastectomies, prostate etc.
• Lipedema
• Trauma related edemas
• Surgery (pre-operative and post-operative) edemas
• Sinus congestions and chronic sinusitis
• Concussions
• Eye surgeries
• Orthopedic/surgical/trauma-related disorders i.e. whiplash, burns, keloids
• Lactation disorders
• Stroke, multiple sclerosis, downs syndrome
• Autonomic nervous conditions i.e. severe anxiety, stress, burn – out
• Pre/post cosmetic surgeries
Our goal is to help our patients reduce their edemas during the difficult stages but then encourage them to be independent active participants in their ongoing care. Our patients are encouraged to live an active independent life and are given as many tools as possible to achieve this.

The basic participial is similar to a standard sauna in that its goal is to make you sweat, the sweat in turn removes toxins from the body. The difference is that instead of heating the air and using steam to make the body sweat an infrared sauna uses Far Infrared rays(FIR) to heat the body directly. Far infrared rays are invisible wave that are produced by the sun as well as our own bodies. These gentle rays, which have been used by ancient Indian yogis for centuries, are able to go deeper in to the skin and heat the body without the use of steam. This allows for a more comfortable sauna experience as it achieves better results at a lower temperature. While other saunas generally run around 150-175° F (66 – 77° C) this sauna reaches a maximum heat of about 130° F (55° C). to sit back, relax and let the warm rays wash over you. Burn up to 600 calories without even stepping into the gym. The healing effects will help you look and feel better with every use.

Custom Made Orthotics are designed to prevent incorrect foot motion (i.e. prevent foot from rolling in wards or outwards) and support foot arches. Dr. Jabeen will assess your feet; watch your gait and biomechanics to determine the best suited orthotic for you. Growing up, I always hoped to be a part of health care and have a positive impact on people’s lives. I was drawn to massage therapy because of its evidence-based practice, holistic nature and my interest in the human body. I am a graduate from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. I have been registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapist of British Columbia since 2014. I am also certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) by the Dr. Vodder School. I have developed a great passion for the benefits of Manual Lymph Drainage on the human body. This form of therapy is very light, rhythmical and relaxing. It aids the lymphatic system in clearing the body’s tissues of painful chemicals, excess fluid, and pathogens to speed up recovery. MLD is very helpful for acute/chronic injuries, primary/secondary lymphedema, sinusitis, digestive issues, skin conditions, pre and post-surgery, migraines and concussions to name a few. My massage practice is also influenced by techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue release, swedish massage, range of motion and stretching. I have a true passion for helping others and I am committed to creating a treatment plan that is best suited for your individual needs. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals.
